Grand Valley State University's Lubbers Student Services Center recently underwent a $6.3 million renovation focused on modernizing the admissions and registrar offices and creating a more welcoming, easy-to-navigate experience for students and visitors. The investment reflects the university's ongoing commitment to supporting student success through spaces that are accessible, functional, and designed around the needs of today's students.
As a long-standing partner of Grand Valley State University, Custer was proud to play a role in the transformation by providing furniture solutions for the first and third floors of the renovated Lubbers Student Services Center. Our relationship with GVSU spans decades and includes numerous projects across campus, giving our team a unique understanding of the university's culture, goals, and commitment to student success.
Working alongside Hanbury and Granger Construction, the project team updated key areas within the Student Services Center to better support students, staff, and visitors. The renovation focused on the admissions and registrar offices, creating a more welcoming and easy-to-navigate environment for prospective and current students alike. The refreshed spaces help improve the overall experience while supporting the important services students rely on throughout their time at GVSU.
Projects like this reflect the value of long-standing partnerships and thoughtful campus investment. Custer is proud to continue supporting Grand Valley State University with furniture solutions that help create more welcoming, functional spaces for students, staff, and visitors.
As GVSU continues to evolve, we’re honored to play a small role in shaping environments that support the student experience for years to come.
