Beautifully executed partner collaboration brings to life a newly developed headquarters for West Michigan-based corporation

Custer worked alongside Eastlake Studios, Via Design, AMDG Architects, and Rockford Construction to provide furniture solutions for a newly developed seven-story corporate headquarters facility located in downtown Grand Rapids.
The building’s sleek architecture, and bountiful access to sunlight through large floor-to-ceiling windows provide a poetic backdrop for furniture selections.
Partnering teams provided vision and specifications for the space, while various environments within the space were executed by Custer’s team–including the majority of the executive offices and suites, and a number of planned ancillary settings throughout all seven floors.
A cozy library, open collaboration space accessible to all staff, café settings, and outdoor patio solutions were included in addition to interior ancillary and private office settings that were provided and installed by Custer’s team.

The majority of the interior’s new café space boast Viccarbe tables and West Elm seating, accented by a nearby exterior patio where Extremis and Coalesse outdoor furniture allow employees to enjoy the best view of the downtown skyline.
